Yemen records 32 COVID-19 infections, 1,190 in total

The Yemeni internationally-recognized government on Wednesday registered 32 more infections of COVID-19 in provinces under its control.
"The new cases occurred in the governorates of Hadhramout (13), Shabwa (11), Taiz (5), Mahara (2) and Lahj (1 case)," the government-run supreme emergency committee (SEC) tweeted.
The novel coronavirus has recently claimed 2 lives in Hadhramout, 2 in Shabwa and 2 others in both Taiz and Lahj, the committee added.
According to the SEC statistics, 16 people have recovered from the pandemic; 6 in each Taiz and Shabwa and 4 in Lahj governorate.
Until Wednesday, Yemeni government-held areas have recorded 1,190 cases infected with COVID-19, including 318 deaths and 504 recoveries.
