Four new COVID-19 cases reported in Yemen's Taiz

TAIZ (Debriefer)--The health authorities in Yemen's Taiz province on Tuesday registered four new COVID-19 cases.

In a statement, they urged the locals to be cautious and take precautionary measures to prevent another outbreak of the pandemic.

On Monday, the supreme national emergency committee for COVID-19 announced 8 new cases in Hadhramout province and 3 in Taiz.

2.176 coronavirus cases, including 619 deaths and 1.432 recoveries, have been reported in regions run by the government.

Yemen is expected to get the first batch of vaccines in March through COVAX Initiative which has allocated 2.316 million doses for the country.
