Sana'a (Debriefer) - Any reckless act will spark inclusive war in the Middle East, Yemen's Houthi group warned Israel on Sunday after the latter's army said it watches the situation in Yemen.
Israel has to "stop threatening some countries in the region that its army is active across the Mideast, and talking about a swift war," an official in the Houthi foreign ministry said in remarks carried by Sana'a-based Saba.
"The Zionist entity is neither concerned in nor related to the situation in Yemen. Any reckless act by the Zionist entity in the region will spark wide-ranging war of which Israel will be the first loser," he added.
Israel tries to fabricate pretexts for hostile acts and moves aimed to hide its persistent aggression against the Palestinian people and show force in an attempt to encourage more normalization chances, the official said.
"If the Zionist entity commits any reckless move or act affecting Yemen, any interests of Israel or allies in the Red Sea will be legitimate target, as part of the response right provided for all international conventions and treaties."
On Friday, spokesman for the Israeli army said Iran could attack Israel from Yemen or Iraq, as "we have intelligence that Iran develops there drones and smart missiles that can reach Israel."
Iran has already attacked the Saudi Aramco facilities in 2019 from Yemen, Iraq and Iran using tens of drones and guided missiles, proving that Iran has great capacities in this field, he added.
Since these acts may repeat against it, Israel has recently kept its eyes open at Yemen and Iraq, and closely watches Iran's moves in the region, the Israeli official said.
