Riyadh (Debriefer) - The Yemeni President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi on Wednesday ordered the formation of a committee, led by interior minister, to probe into the attack that targeted the new government upon arrival at Aden airport.
The committee will consist of Aden security, intelligence and local leaders, according to the Riyadh-based Saba.
The Yemeni prime minister and his cabinet members survived the attack that left 26 deaths and 59 injuries, a Yemeni medical source told Debriefer.
In phone call with his PM Maeen Abdulmalek, Hadi said terrorist acts by the Iranian-backed Houthis and other terrorist groups would not dissuade the legitimate government from practicing its duties in the interim capital or exerting efforts to maintain security, normalize life across Yemen and end the coup.
Yemen is living an extraordinary period requiring all political and public entities to unify honest efforts in the face of all challenges, and to lead Yemen to broad horizons of security and stability under a civil, federal state, the President added.
