ADEN (Debriefer)--The spokesperson for Yemen's internationally recognised government Rajeh Badi on Monday said the US designation of the Houthis as a terrorist group serves the Yemeni cause and will help pave the way for a solution to the prolonged tragic conflict.
All regional and international efforts to convince the group to agree to a peaceful solution have failed, he said.
The US decision will draw the world's attention to Houthi crimes against the Yemeni people, he said, pointing out that Iran's reaction to the US decision exposed its pain after an arm of its revolutionary guard has been targeted.
He ruled out that the Houthis can take action in response.
