Riyadh (Debriefer) - The GCC reconciliation is a success of the Kuwaiti wise diplomacy and policy, advisor to the Yemeni President tweeted late on Monday.
"Yemen was greatly affected by Gulf disputes and will benefit from settlement," Abdul Malik al-Mikhlafi added, "in order to unite efforts to restore the State and achieve peace, according to the three terms of reference.
"Every Arab reconciliation deserves support and praise," he said, highlighting the need for the "Arab nation to restore solidarity and bases for Arab joint work to the numerous existential challenges facing the nation."
Once served as foreign minister, Mikhlafi hoped the GCC settlement will be a key step towards this purpose.
Earlier on Monday, Kuwaiti foreign ministry said Saudi Arabia and Qatar agreed to reopen all ports closed between the two neighbor countries since 2017.
On Tuesday, GCC summit kicked off in the Saudi province of al-Ulla, where a settlement accord is expected to be reached between Qatar and Saudi Arabia, Emirates, Bahrain and even Egypt.
The GCC summit will gather words, unify ranks and interpret expectations for reunion and solidarity, the Saudi Crown Prince, Mohamed Bin Salman, said on Monday.
The Qatari delegation is led by Amir Tamim Bin Hamid.
