ADEN (Debriefer)--Yemen's information minister Muammar Al-Eryani on Saturday accused the Houthi group of replacing the national anthem with the Khomeini revolution anthem to launch its sectarian activities in Sanaa.
This is evidence of the group's allegiance to the guardianship of the Islamic jurist in Iran, he said.
Activists have circulated a 14-second videotape of a group of people singing the Iranian national anthem in a hall where pictures of Iranian military and religious leaders were displayed.
Al-Eryani warned of serious consequences of Houthi practices in areas under their control.
"The Houthi group is systematically trying to falsifying the national awareness، obliterating the national identity, imposing religious symbols and rituals, glorifying Iran's terror symbols and turning those regions into a Persian colony," he said.
He urged Arab countries to realise the dangerous consequences of taking away the Yemeni identity and delayed military victory against the group on the Arab and regional security.
Moreover, he called on the international community to leave its silence and assume its legal and moral responsibility to stop the blatant Iranian aggression on Yemen.
