Riyadh (Debriefer) - The Saudi-led coalition on Friday intercepted and destroyed three drones sent by the Houthi group northward Saudi territories, spokesman for the Arab coalition said.
The coalition Joint Forces shot down three bomb-laden drones heading for the Kingdom, Turki al-Maliki added in a statement.
The planes were launched by the Houthis from the Yemeni western governorate of Hodeida, the statement read.
The Houthi group "persistently breaches the Stockholm Agreement and Hodeida ceasefire, and uses Hodeida governorate as place to launch hostile and terrorist acts, by firing ballistic missiles and booby-rapped drones and boats," the spokesman claimed.
These violations pose real threat to regional and international security, and undermine the Stockholm pact's political efforts, he added.
No comment has immediately been released by the Houthi group on the coalition statement.
