Riyadh (Debriefer) - The Saudi government on Tuesday deplored the Houthi breaches of the Stockholm Agreement in the Yemeni western governorate of Hodeida, and reiterated its support for political solution in Yemen.
In a statement following its meeting, the Saudi government said it presses for security and stability in the region and supports political solutions for Yemeni, Syrian and Libyan crises.
The Kingdom strongly deplores the Houthi persistent violation of the Stockholm Agreement in Yemen, using Hodeida to launch hostile and terrorist acts in the form of ballistic missiles and bomb-laden drones and boats, the statement added.
These acts pose real threat to the regional and international security and undermine political efforts, according to the statement.
Earlier Tuesday on the Gulf Cooperation Council Secretary-general said the GCC supports the UN efforts aimed at reaching an inclusive political solution for Yemen's crisis in accordance with the three terms of reference.
GCC member states reject the Iranian meddling in Yemeni affair, Nief al-Hajraf added at meeting with the Yemeni President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi in Riyadh.
