Sana'a (Debriefer) - The Yemeni UN-recognized government troops use the terrorist Daesh organization in Marib fighting against the Houthis, the Iran-backed group said Thursday.
Houthi media outlets on Thursday circulated a statement, in which they claimed Daesh says its militants took part in battles in Marib's western front of al-Kasarah, but the statement was not found in Daesh websites.
Daesh announcement proves how the organization is linked to the "criminal coalition" led by Saudi Arabia, the Houthi politburo said in a release.
The release dubbed calls for Marib battle to be stopped as "international cover for persistent aggression and blockade, and support for extremist groups militarily involved with invaders and occupiers," according to the Sana'a-based Saba.
The Houthis "won't remain mere bystanders, and have all the right and legitimacy to continue the liberation battle and to confront those who have no goal but keep Yemen under chaos and external interventions."
