Aden (Debriefer) - The Houthi attack targeting Riyadh is a war crime that requires holding the group accountable and putting an end to its actions, the Yemeni UN-recognized government said in a statement Saturday, considering the "failed attacks" as evidence of the Houthi terrorist approach following Iran to destabilize the regional security.
Issued by the foreign ministry, the statement deplored Houthi "repeated terrorist acts.. putting civilians' lives at risk."
The Yemeni government supports all the measures taken by the Kingdom to protect its territories and combat terrorism threatening its security, the safety of its citizens and the regional stability, the statement added.
On Sunday, the Yemeni information minister, Moammar al-Eryani, said the Houthis try, by these "failed attacks, to fabricate illusive wins and to hide the pitter losses they suffer daily in Marib's fighting fronts."
He called on the UN and its special envoy for Yemen to clearly condemn the Houthi attacks targeting Saudi Arabia and Yemeni lands.
