RIYADH (Debriefer)--The Saudi press agency on Sunday published photos of shrapnel of a missile which was fired by the Houthi group towards the Saudi capital Riyadh.
The shrapnel hit the house of a Saudi citizen, causing damage to it, it said, holding the group responsible for targeting civilians and civilian objects. There were no casualties, it added.
Powerful explosions were heard in Riyadh on Saturday night, according to eyewitnesses.
The Houthi group announced it carried out the fifth balance of deterrence operation with one ballistic missile and 15 drones deep in Saudi Arabia.
The missile, Dhu Al-Fiqar, and nine drones, Samad-3, targeted sensitive positions in Riyadh, and six drones, Qasef-K2, hit targets in the cities of Abha and Khamis Musheit, the group said.
