Riyadh (Debriefer) - The Saudi-led coalition on Thursday said its forces foiled new Houthi attack targeting Saudi lands.
Air defenses intercepted and destroyed bomb-laden drone fired by the Iranian-backed Houthi group, before reaching Saudi territories, the coalition added in a brief statement.
This attack comes as part of Houthi hostile attempts aimed to target civilians and civilian objects in the Kingdom, the statement read.
The Arab coalition constantly takes all operational measures needed to protect civilians in accordance with the international humanitarian law, according to the statement.
Earlier on Thursday, the coalition announced interception of a Houthi booby-trapped drone en route to the southwestern city of Khamis Mushait.
No immediate remark has been issued by the Houthi group on the coalition claims.
The Houthis recently intensified attacks against Saudi targets using drones and ballistic missiles.
