MUSCAT (Debriefer)--Oman's Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Al-Busaidi said on Saturday cessation of hostilities and allowing the flow of humanitarian aid are the gateway to resolving the crisis in Yemen.

I had a good Yemen discussion with Tim Lenderking, the US Envoy to Yemen, he said in a statement on Twitter.

"We hope to see a sustained flow of humanitarian aid and basic necessities and a permanent ceasefire. This is the pathway to a political solution based on dialogue and negotiations".

Lenderking and Al-Busaidi discussed the urgent need to resolve the Yemen conflict and the necessity of addressing the impending environmental crisis of the SAFER oil tanker with the UN, the US Department of State said on Twitter.
