London (Debriefer) - The Houthis ask for further advantages that would provide the Iranian-backed group with a political victory, sources close to Yemen's peace talks said Wednesday.
The international moves currently led by Oman are still in the first square, with Houthis delaying and asking the Omani mediators for more advantages, the sources told Al-Araby al-Jadeed.
The sources ruled out any breakthrough into the crisis, given the deep stalemate and lack of willingness to make real concessions.
While the Yemeni government insists on ceasefire to go ahead with peace process, the Houthis adhere to humanitarian issue as the first step.
Last Saturday, an Omani delegation paid a visit to Sana'a City for talks with Houthi leaders, but the trip seems to have had no positive fruits.
