SANAA (Debriefer)--The Houthi group said on Sunday it has made huge advances during a military operation called the victory spring against the forces of the internationally recognised government in Yemen's provinces of Marib and Shabwa.
All the objectives of the operation have been achieved, the group's military spokesperson Yahya Sarea said, pointing out that their forces have seized the districts of Ain, Baihan and Usaylan in Shabwa and the districts of Harib and Al-Abdiyah and parts of the districts of Al-Jubah and Jabal Murad in Marib.
We have seized a land of 3,200 square kilometres, he elaborated.
Hundres of soldiers from the forces of the government and its allies were killed and injured, he said, adding that they will continue their war until all Yemeni cities are liberated and the invaders are driven out of the country.
