Riyadh (Debriefer) The Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen on Monday said its airstrikes left 105 Houthi fighters killed in the Yemeni northeastern governorate of Marib.
In the last 24 hours, "we carried out 29 raids targeting Houthi equipment and militants in Jowba and Kasara districts, west Marib," the Arab coalition said in a statement carried in the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The air strikes damaged 13 combating machines and left 105 Houthi fighters killed, it added.
According to the Houthi-run news agency, the Arab coalition launched 16 raids on Jowba and Sirwah districts in Marib, security sources said, without details on the losses.
In the last two weeks, the Saudi-led coalition daily said its war planes pounded the vicinity of Marib city, leaving more than 1,700 Houthis.
On Sunday, the Iranian-backed Houthi group said they would keep on trying to advance towards Marib city, despite the huge losses in lives and ordnance.
