European Union ambassadors to Yemen on Wednesday expressed willingness to provide logistic and technical services in paying the Yemeni civil servants' salaries, and help the country's economy and monetary policy mechanisms.
At a videoed meeting with Houthi negotiators led by Mohamed Abdul Salam, the EU envoys discussed humanitarian and political efforts, and ways to push Yemen's peace process, according to the Sana'a-based Saba.
The meeting also addressed efforts exerted by the UN special envoy to bring about a comprehensive vision for solution, and the EU role in pressing for a political settlement in the war-torn country, rehabilitating the Sana'a airport and providing equipment and humanitarian support.
