Marib (Debriefer) - Yemen's government troops will continue their battle to end the Houthi coup, restore the State and free all the abductees detained at the Iranian-backed group's jails, the national army's chief of staff said Friday.
The Yemeni armed forces made sacrifices for the sake of all Yemeni's freedom and dignity, General Aziz Bin Sagheer added while welcoming in Marib the prisoners released from Houthi jails, according to the defense ministry-run september.net.
Abductees and captives were held by the Houthis as struggling in defense of the nation and national principles, he said, while "the Houthi militants carry out Iran's plots in the region."
The Yemeni political leadership cares for all those detained in Houthi prisons, the army's COF added, hailing all the efforts exerted to release the captives under the UN-brokered prisoner swap.
