Riyadh (Debriefer) - The Arab coalition forces have damaged two naval mines released by the Houthi group in the Red Sea, the coalition spokesman said Friday.
The Iranian-backed Houthi acts threaten the maritime security in Bab al-Mandeb and Red Sea, Turki al-Maliki added.
According to official reports, the Saudi-led coalition has so far destructed 163 Houthi naval mines in the Red Sea.
On Wednesday, a Greek oil tanker sustained partial damage after colliding with a naval mine in the Red Sea off Saudi coasts.
Riyadh accuses Tehran of supplying the Houthi group with Iranian-made naval mines and boats to threaten global shipping routes in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandeb.
