SANAA (Debriefer)--The Ansar Allah group, known as the Houthis, on Wednesday accused France of selling political positions in return for funds from rich GCC states.
The group's spokesperson and chief negotiator, Mohammed Abdulsalam, expressed their rejection to a French statement condemning a recent attack on the Saudi Aramco company.
"The French condemnation of the operation against Aramco is rejected. It was too late, perhaps because France was still getting the price," he wrote on Twitter.
France is one of the countries involved in the continued aggression on Yemen, he added.
The French foreign ministry on Tuesday accused Iran of being behind Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia, saying the attacks violate international law.
Saudi Arabia leads a military coalition which has been fighting the group since March 2015. In response, the group has been launching missile and drone attacks on Saudi military and economic targets, including Aramco.
Last week, it launched a missile at the Saudi giant which caused a fire at one of its distribution stations.
