Riyadh (Debriefer) - Saudi Arabia is keen more than ever to see Yemen arriving in safe shore, the Kingdom's deputy defense minister tweeted on Sunday, noting that the Riyadh Agreement coped with all difficulties by help of Yemeni, Saudi and Emirati efforts.
"The Kingdom maintains a constant approach that reflects aspects of its policy aimed to achieve security and stability for the neighbor, brotherly country – Yemen of Arabism – and its people's expectations, and blesses the Riyadh Agreement's application crowned with the government formation," Prince Khalid Bin Salman added.
He hailed the pact's implementation as a political, diplomatic and military achievement, thanks to positive response from Yemen's President, government, Southern Transitional Council and military leaders who give priority to the national interest over all considerations.
Yemen has "hard work and long way, but with honest men's wills disputes could be quitted, efforts be unified, difficulties be eased and wishes be achieved," the Saudi Prince said.
On Friday, the Yemeni President, Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, decreed the formation of the new government equally shared by the war-torn country's northern and southern provinces.
