Riyadh (Debriefer) - The Yemeni official foreign minister will visit the United Arab Emirates after Saudi Arabia, high-level sources said Monday, as part of a broader trip to all GCC countries.
Ahmed Bin Mubarak will arrive in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, the sources told the London-based Asharq Al-Awsat on condition of anonymity, as the trip is expected to include Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Oman.
The FM visits aimed to coordinate political positions, mobilize support for Yemen's technocrat government, and discuss opportunities and challenges faced by the newly-formed government, the sources added.
The visit is a "normal result of positive atmospheres following the Ulla Summit," according to the sources.
On Monday, FM Bin Mubarak met in Riyadh with his Saudi counterpart, Faisal Bin Farhan, and with Arab and Western envoys to discuss Yemen's latest political and military developments.
