SANAA (Debriefer)--The collective punishment imposed by a Saudi-led coalition against the Yemeni people will be faced with all strength, the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Houthi government Hisham Sharaf has said.

We will face the practices of the coalition with attacks on vital Saudi military and economic installations to force the Saudi regime to listen to the voice of peace, respect human rights and stop attacks on Yemenis and their properties, he said in a statement carried by the Sanaa-based Saba news agency on Sunday.

Sanaa wants peace based on respecting Yemen's sovereignty, he said.

On Sunday, the group said it carried out a massive operation with one ballistic missile and 15 drones against targets in the Saudi capital Riyadh and cities of Abha and Khamis Musheit.

Lately, Sharaf called on the international community to take action to end a five-year embargo imposed by the coalition on Sanaa airport and Hodeidah seaport.

We will not keep silent over this embargo and use all military options against the coalition member states, he said.

The group ousted the internationally recognised government and seized power in late 2014, sparking a civil war and a Saudi-led military intervention.
