Marib (Debriefer) - One civilian was killed and six others injured on Monday when a ballistic missile targeted residential quarter downtown the Yemeni northeastern city of Marib, medical sources said.
The Iranian-backed Houthi group early on Monday fired the missile at a-Roudha domestic neighborhood, leaving civilian casualties and massive material damages.
Huge sound was obviously heard all around the city, local residents said.
Despite the UN and international growing calls for de-escalation, armed clashes persistently rages on in a city hosting more than two million IDPs according to the International Organization of Migration figures.
Amid their relentless campaign to take control of the oil-rich city, the Houthis stepped up their missile attacks on Marib.
