Sana'a (Debriefer) The Houthi group on Thursday reopened a road linking al-Mabraz Jabal Ras to the government-held district of Hais in the Yemeni western governorate of Hodeida, the Houthi authority for organizing land transport said in a statement.
The Saudi-led coalition "still reneges and delays the application of the humanitarian truce.. in terms of opening the crossings," according to the statement carried by the Sana'a-based Saba.
Yemeni travellers experience harassments and difficulties as the second party has failed to abide by the truce deal's terms relating to the roads and crossings, the statement added.
The Houthi group "makes concessions after concessions in reopening the crossings to help citizens and travellers move smoothly."
The authority called for UN pressures on the other party to reopen roads and crossings, and to not hinder travellers and trucks transporting goods on the Hodeida-Taiz road.
On 2 April, a UN-brokered 2-month, renewable truce took effect in Yemen under which 18 oil tankers should be allowed access to Hodeida port, Sana'a airport be reopened for commercial flights, and Taiz roads be reopened.
