SANAA (Debriefer)--The Ansar Allah group, known as the Houthis, said on Thursday it attacked with a ballistic missile a facility of the Saudi oil giant Aramco in the city of Jeddah and a military base in the city of Khamis Musheit with an explosives-laden drone.
A Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen said it shot down a Houthi drone over Khamis Musheit today.
The group's military spokesperson Brig. Gen. Yahya Sarea said their rocket force targeted the Aramco facility with a winged missile, type Quds-2, which hit the target precisely.
The drone, Qasef-K2, targeted the King Khalid Air Base, he said, adding that the attacks were a response to escalated air attacks on their forces and continued aggression and blockade on Yemen.
On Tuesday, the Houthis said they attacked Abha international airport with a drone, Qasef-K2, which the coalition said intercepted and shot down.
