Confrontations in Abs, north Hajjah

Hajjah (Debriefer) - Tens of Houthi fighters were killed or injured in confrontations with the Yemeni government troops on Monday in Abs, north the northwestern governorate of Hajjah, the fifth military region's media center said.
Crowds of the Houthi group tried to infiltrate into military sites in Abs, the center added in Facebook, but government troops foiled the attempt.
The attackers were forced to retreat, after tens of them were killed or injured, the national army-affiliated center claimed, noting that some of the Houthi vehicles and ordnance were destroyed.
The same district of Abs saw on Sunday naval fighting between the two sides, following a Houthi attack with 8 boats on sites of the government troops that fended off the assault and destroyed two boats.
The other boats withdrew to al-Lohaiah district in the neighboring governorate of Hodeida, west Yemen.
