MUSCAT (Debriefer)--The Ansar Allah group, referred to as the Houthis, on Wednesday held the forces of the internationally recognised government fully responsible for attacks and selling on the displacement camps in Yemen's Marib province.

The government forces are using the displacement camps as shields to protect their camps and this is a criminal behaviour, the group's spokesperson and chief negotiator Mohammed Abdulsalam wrote on Twitter.

The government forces, Daesh and Al-Qaeda are stationed at the displacement camps, he claimed.

The government is accusing the group of launching deliberate missile and drone attacks on the displacement camps, civilians and civilian objects in Marib.

On Tuesday, it warned of a humanitarian catastrophe because of new waves of displacement by IDPs from the displacement camps of Al-Mail, Al-Khair and Tawasul.

Dozens of IDPs, including women and children, have been injured and their properties destroyed in Houthi attacks, the Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Muammar Al-Eryani said.

Marib is accommodating more than one million IDPs in 139 camps.
