Riyadh (Debriefer) - Saudi foreign ministry on Tuesday summoned the Lebanese ambassador to Riyadh over remarks against the Kingdom released by Lebanon's foreign minister at TV interview.

The FM statements "doesn't conform with historical relations between the two brotherly people," the Saudi foreign ministry said.
Resultantly, the foreign ministry summoned the Lebanese envoy to express rejection to the FM's abusing remarks, it added.
The Lebanese FM accused Saudi Arabia incognito of funding the terrorist group of Daesh, charges the Lebanese presidency dubbed as personal opinion that does not reflect the Lebanese State.
Some of the FM's remarks triggered reactions aimed to abuse brotherly relations between Lebanon and Gulf states, the presidency's media office said in a statement.
