Riyadh (Debriefer) - The Saudi-led coalition defenses have intercepted a Houthi booby-trapped drone en route to the Saudi southern city of Khamis Mushait, the coalition said late on Thursday.
Hostile attacks against innocent civilians violate humanitarian values and law, the Arab coalition added in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency.
The coalition are currently taking all the operational measures needed to protect civilians and civilian objects against hostile attacks, it said.
No comment was released by the Iranian-backed group on the Saudi claims.
The Houthis have recently stepped up attacks on Saudi areas using ballistic missiles and explosive drones, with the Arab coalition repeatedly announcing interception.
