
RIYADH (Debriefer)--The Saudi-led coalition said on Friday it destroyed an explosives-laden drone which was fired by the Houthi group towards the province of Khamis Mushait in southern Saudi Arabia.
We are taking all necessary measures to face delibrate Houthi attacks against civilians and civilian objects, it said in a statement carried by the Saudi press agency.
The Iran-allied Houthis said the drone, type Qasef-K2, targeted the King Khalid Air Base and that the hit was precise.
The coalition has been involved in Yemen since March 2015.
On Wednesday, it said it shot down four Houthi drones in south of the Saudi Kingdom.
