RIYADH (Debriefer)--The Saudi-led coalition said on Sunday it intercepted and destroyed two ballistic missiles and three explosives-laden drones fired by the Houthi group towards the provinces of Khamis Mushait and Najran in southern Saudi Arabia.
On Saturday, it said it shot down three explosives-laden drones over the two provinces.
The coalition has been supporting Yemen's internationally recognised government against the Iran-allied Houthi group since March 2015.
Recently, the group has intensified missile and drone attacks against the Saudi Kingdom in retaliation for Saudi-led airstrikes against its forces.
