JAWF (Debriefer)--A civilian was killed and another injured when a landmine exploded on the highway between Jawf and Marib provinces in northeast Yemen on Sunday.
The mine was laid by the Houthi group and went off while the two were passing by the road, a local source said, without giving more details.
Separately, the Saudi Masam Project said it removed 2.679 landmines and unexploded ordnance in the country this month.
So far, it has removed 273.954 landmines since it started its activities in the country a few years ago, it said.
