ABYAN (Debriefer)--The Houthi group on Thursday launched a missile attack against a brigade of forces loyal to Yemen's internationally recognised government in the southern province of Abyan, a military source said.

The ballistic missile hit the headquarters of the 115th Infantry Brigade in the district of Lawdar, the source said, adding that it was launched from a Houthi position in the Akabat Thurah area.

There were no casualties but it caused huge damage to facilities used by units engaged in battles against the group in Abyan and the adjacent province of Bayda, the source said.

In June, a number of pro-government troops were killed and injured in a Houthi attack on the brigade.
