RIYADH ,(Debriefer)--The Saudi-led coalition destroyed Houthi missile launch pads in the district of Al-Sawma'ah in Yemen's Bayda province on Saturday.
The Iran-allied Houthi group had used these pads to launch missile attacks into areas controlled by the internationally recognised government, the coalition said in a statement carried by Saudi media outlets.
Earlier in the day, it targeted an educational institute in the district on the border with Shabwah province, and warned people not to travel through roads between Bayda and Marib and roads linking the districts of Bayhan, Usaylan and Al-Ain in Shabwah.
These roads have been declared as military zones and are being watched around the clock, the coalition's spokesperson Turki Al-Maliki said.
The pro-government forces cleared the Houthis from Shabwah last week.
