Hodeida (Debriefer) The Saudi-led coalition has released another oil tanker with cooking gas onboard, the Houthi-run Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC) said on Thursday, after "20 days of detention".
"The 'Claudia Gas' ship is expected to arrive at Hodeida port in the few coming hours, carrying 8,249 metric tons of household gas," the Sana'a-based YPC said in a statement.
The vessel was let in after 20 days of detention by the Arab coalition navy in the Red Sea, spokesman for the YPC said in the statement.
Unloading the ship's cargo will be started by the YPC-commissioned team once the tanker arrives at Hodeida port, Ali Meisar added.
The coalition "continues piracy acts against oil tankers.. in violation of the UN truce," he said, as the 2-month armistice is expected to end on 2 June.
