Berlin (Debriefer) President of the Yemeni Leadership Council (LC) on Sunday left the German capital heading for the United States to take part in the UN 77th General Assembly meetings scheduled to start on Monday.
This is the second western country visited by President Rashad al-Alimi since he took office on 7 April.
Earlier on Monday, the Yemeni leader concluded his official 6-day visit to Berlin, where he held discussions with German leaders on the Yemeni situation and international efforts aimed to ease humanitarian suffering and bring peace to Yemen, Saba said.
On departure, President Alimi hailed the exceptional relations between the two friend countries and the German position backing the Yemeni legitimacy, and efforts to revive political process and to end the Houthi coup, the Aden-based news agency added.
