Lahj (Debriefer) Three soldiers of the Emirati-backed Giant Brigades (GB) forces were killed and two others were injured on Friday in Houthi missile attack on a military pickup in the Yemeni southern governorate of Lahj, local sources said.
The Iranian-backed Houthi forces fired a Cornet missile at the armed pickup while travelling in Souk Al al-Haid in al-Had district north Lahj, according to the sources.
The attack left three soldiers killed and two other injured, the sources added, as the wounded were taken to a nearby hospital.
The Emirati-backed forces accuse Houthi fighters positioned on sites bordering al-Had district of repeatedly shelling their sites and villages and targeting passersby on the main road.
No immediate comments have been released by the Houthis on the attack that comes two days before the UN-mediated expires, amid UN intense efforts aimed at 6-month extension.
