Abyan (Debriefer) Commander of the 8th Thunder Brigade, run by the Emirati-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) forces, was injured on Sunday when an explosive device exploded in a camp recently retaken from al-Qaeda militants in the Yemeni southern governorate of Abyan.
Colonel al-Khader Hamsan and some of his soldiers were wounded by a bomb blast inside a military camp in Omaran Valley, east Modea district, according to a military source.
