Sana'a (Debriefer) Two Yemeni civilians were killed on Sunday when a Houthi-laid landmine exploded in Nihm district, northeast Sana'a City, local sources said.
The mine blew up in Barran village leaving Sakhr Ali al-Shaleef and Abdul-Khaliq Abdu Farhan killed, according to the sources.
Having been randomly laid, the Houthi mines pose real risk to millions of civilians, as their victims have been in the rise.
The MinesinYemen, a NGO concerned with documenting the mines incidents, says over 280,000 civilians were killed or injured by Houthi mines across Yemen during the six months of truce.
