Aden (Debriefer) First shipment of the Saudi new oil grant has arrived at the Yemeni southern port city of Aden, the Arab Coalition said on Wednesday in remarks carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The US$200-million grant of diesel and fuel oil comes in response to the Yemeni government's call for assistance with operating 70 power generation plants across Yemen, SPA added.
The grant arrives as part of support provided by the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen.
The Saudi Program has implemented 224 projects in Yemen's education, health, water, energy, transport, agriculture & fishery, and capacity building fields.
