Mukalla (Debriefer) The first batch of Saudi new oil grant arrived at the Yemeni eastern port of Mukalla on Monday, as part of Saudi support provided via the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY).
The cargo includes 8,500 metric tons of oil gas assigned to operate power plants in Hadhramout, Yemen's vastest governorate on the Arabian Sea.
Saudi Arabia and ADRPY exert efforts and provide grants in support of all the vital sectors in the governorate, including electricity, Hadhramout governor said.
This grant is of great significance in terms of generating power, helping the central government and local authorities, and enhancing the provincial economy, Mabkhout Mubarak Bin Madhi added.
