Houthi drone attack kills injures 5 Yemeni troops

Hadhramout (Debriefer) Two Yemeni soldiers have been killed and three others injured, Hadhramout governor said late on Wednesday, following a Houthi attack with booby-trapped drone on an army site in the eastern governorate.
The Houthi group attacked the 23rd Brigade in al-Alam area, Governor Mabkhout Bin Madhi added in a statement, noting that the attack left two soldiers killed and other three wounded.
No immediate remarks have been released by the Houthi group to claim or deny the offensive that comes two days after the group attack Dhaba oil terminal in the vast governorate.
On Tuesday, member of the Yemeni Leadership Council (LC) said the LC would take urgent measures to guard the economic facilities from Houthi attacks, one day after the eastern oil port of Dhaba was targeted by the group.
"There should be an end to the Houthi terrorist escalation targeting the national economic facilities in Hadhramout, and to any hostile terrorist attacks aimed at the country's security, stability and economy," Faraj al-Bohsoni added at a meeting for Hadhramout security committee.
Hecalled on military and security leaders to be alert, boost readiness and activate intelligence role to detect any suspect moves and thwart plots before their occurrence.
