Sana'a (Debriefer) Brother of the Houthi Supreme Political Council has died of wounds sustained in fighting, Houthi media said late on Thursday.
Muslih al-Mashat (43), brother of Mahdi al-Mashat, died after "suffering with disease due to an injury" he sustained in confrontations with the Saudi-led Coalition and Yemeni troops, Saba said, without mentioning the when or where.
Muslih was one of the prominent field leaders, and his departure is a grave loss for the Houthi group, according to the Sana'a-based news agency.
Yemen has been racked by an armed conflict that broke out after the Iranian-backed Houthis ousted the UN-recognized government late in 2014.
