Yemen recorded 34 new Covid-19 cases, 5 deaths

The number of people infected with Coronavirus in Yemen increased Thursday to 453 cases, including 103 deaths, after 34 new infections, 5 deaths and 17 recoveries were recorded in the last 24 hours.

The Supreme Committee for Emergencies of the internationally recognized Yemeni government said on its Twitter account on Thursday evening,

The new cases of Coronavirus were distributed to Lahj governorate (11 cases, including one death case and 13 cases in Taiz, including 7 deaths in Hadhramout, including two deaths and one case in Abyan, and the same in Dhalea and Mahra.

The committee pointed out the death of a pre-recorded case in the governorate of Taiz, southwest of Yemen, and two deaths in the Hadhramout governorate in the east of the country.

The Ministry of Health in the Ansar Allah group (Houthis), the Salvation government, continues to keep silent figures on the true cases and deaths of the Coronavirus in areas under its control.
