
The UN envoy for Yemen and the Omani minister for foreign affairs on Thursday discussed efforts exerted for peace process in Yemen
At the meeting in Muscat, Martin Griffiths hailed the Omani efforts to deliver aid to Yemen and bring peace to the neighboring country, according to the Omani foreign ministry's website.
FM Youssef Bin Alawi affirmed his country's constant support for UN efforts to reach a political solution bringing peace and stability to Yemen and its people.
Last Monday, Envoy Griffiths visited Riyadh and held talks with the Yemeni President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, Prime Minister Maeen Abdulmalek and chairman of the Southern Transitional Council, Eidroos al-Zobaidi.
