Sana'a (Debriefer) - Iran's nuclear project idealizes independent will, Yemen's Houthi group said Wednesday, supporting Tehran's right to possessing and developing its own nuclear program.
In a statement, the Iranian-backed Houthi politburo condemned the "coward sabotage act sustained by Natanz nuclear facility," noting that Iran has the right to retaliate in appropriate way, according to the Houthi-run al-Masyra TV.
"Heavily armed with nuclear arsenal for military purposes and known for its criminal history, America and its fosterling (Israel).. have no right to rouse any concern at Iran nuclear [program] designed for peaceful purposes," the statement read.
Regional peoples should stand by each other in the face of colonist arrogance, it added.
On Sunday, Natanz nuclear compound sustained a blast leaving indefinite number of centrifuges damaged, with Tehran blaming Israel for the incident.
The blast was sparked by an explosive device that was secretly brought into the plant and remotely detonated, the New York Times quoted US and Israeli intelligence officials as saying.
