RIYADH (Debriefer)--The Saudi-led coalition said on Saturday it intercepted and shot down two Houthi explosives-laden drones that were fired towards Saudi Arabia.
On Friday, it shot down five drones over the Saudi province of Khamis Mushait and a sixth one fired towards Abha city, the capital of Aseer province.
The coalition has been fighting the Iran-allied Houthi group in Yemen since 2015.
In retaliation, the group has been firing ballistic missiles and explosives-laden drones into Saudi Arabia, mostly into regions on the border between the two countries.
