The Yemeni President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi on Friday issued the Decree (10) of 2020 appointing General Sagheer Bin Aziz as chief of staff and promoting his rank to major general.
Aziz appointment comes as the two Yemeni northern governorates of Marib and al-Jawf see military escalation.
Before his promotion, General Bin Aziz served as the commander of the Yemeni armed forces' joint operations.
